Section 11: Audience Feedback

The feedback we got on our thriller intro, 'Incognito' was mostly positive, with compliments on scenes such as, the eye which connotes the flashback, the wine glass being picked up then placed back down close to the camera to make it look epic, the layering (ghosting) of the doctor writing in his diary/note pad, the blured vision of the husband before he falls after drinking the spiked glass of wine, the room where the doctor is looking through documents with pictures hanging from the ceiling, the camerawork (the camera being from the neck down to keep identity hidden which creates more suspence), the shot were the doctor and the wife exchange money and the confidential envelope which shows that the pair of planning something, and the scene being in black and white and the nails being left in colour.

With compliments, there will always be criticism; on the scene where the wife and doctor exchange the envelope and money, the 'pink nails' didn't seem to work as pink is a babyish colour, if the nails were black or red it would of looked more devious/sinister which would of fitted more accurately with the film rather than the pink. On the same scene, the audience thought it would be more appropriate if they just met at the same time in the middle rather than one walking first then the other one follow.
On the scene with the wine glass near the beginning of the thriller, the glass is in position, but on the next shot that follows immediatley after, it's in a different position; this was one of the main continuity errors that was spotted.

All in all, I feel it went well, with more compliments than criticism, and hopefully with criticism will be taken into account and remembered for next time.
